Professional journey

I'm Ermias Antigegn, a software engineer working onsite in the tech industry. I graduated with a BSc in Computer Science from Bahir Dar University and moved quickly from coursework into shipping enterprise-grade software.

My focus is system architecture and performance engineering. I don't just write code — I design systems: government portals like Amhara Investment, and startup marketplaces like Aezop, all built for security and high availability with Laravel and React/Next.js.

In my current role I solve business problems through code, weighing maintainability against efficiency on every decision. Lately that means folding Node.js microservices and real-time data processing into the stack.
